OUR MISSION
Through compassion and understanding of the family disease of addiction, we seek to provide education, support, comfort and healing to people who are at risk for, experiencing, or recovering from Substance Use Disorder, their families, and the families of those who lost their battle. This will be accomplished through educational forums, community events, and providing supportive programming through the OASIS Community Center in Northampton County, Pennsylvania.
NOTICE
Speak Up for Ben, Inc. is a contracted service provider with Northampton County Department of Human Services Drug & Alcohol Division. We provide recovery-oriented systems of care to the Northampton County and Lehigh Valley, PA community through our flagship project, the OASIS Community Center. This project is funded, in part, under a contract with the Northampton Department of Human Services through funds provided by the County of Northampton and
the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Speak Up for Ben, Inc. undergoes an annual audit conducted by a third-party accounting firm and submitted to the Northampton County Department of Human Services Drug and Alcohol Division Administrator (SCA) for accountability and transparency.
Thank you for your interest in our mission. For charitable giving opportunities, please contact Rhonda Miller at rhonda@speakupforben.org or make a donation on the home page.
Speak Up for Ben, Inc. has temporarily had its 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status suspended due to a delay in filing annual returns. Therefore, donations made at this time are not currently tax-deductible. However, we are actively working with the IRS to secure retroactive reinstatement of our tax-exempt status. We are confident that our status will be restored soon and that eligible donations will be recognized as tax-deductible retroactively.
We appreciate your continued support and understanding as we resolve this matter. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions.
